Answer / benny
The given diameter of circle is 2.17 meter
Inches equivalent of 1 meter is 39.37 inches
Therefore; Diameter D in inches = 2.17*39.37 = 85.433 inches
The area of a circle = (Π*D^2)/4
Where the value of Pi(Π)= 3.141592654
(Pi(Π)is constant ratio of circumference to that of diameter of a circle)
Thus; A = (3.141592654*85.433^2)/4
Area; A = 5,732.46 square inches

area of a circle 2 x pi x r
so
2 x 3.14 x 1.085 = 6.81 sq.mt
convert it into square foots by multiplying by 10.764
so 6.81 x 10.764 = 73.34 sq.ft
multiply by 144 to make square foots into square inches
73.34 x 144 = 10561 sq.inches
