For Previous dates we cannot schedule the reports on today in Cognos.
We can schedule reports for required day,week,month,Year like Monday,Tuesday .. and time also we can mention.
To schedule reports we need to use schedule option in properties.
We can schedule reports in Public Folders only not in My folders reports.

We can use the below expression in filter and schedule the report to run daily.
Date Field > _add_days(Current_date,-1)
