how power is generated, and transmitted to our home..pls
explain briefly in simple words.
Answer / Utkarsha Singh
Power generation begins at power plants, where fuels like coal, gas, nuclear, wind, solar, and hydro are used to create electricity. The generated power is then transmitted through a network of power lines to substations. From there, the voltage is stepped down before being distributed to transformers located near homes or businesses, which further reduce the voltage to levels safe for use in households. Finally, the power reaches our homes through service wires.
