We have 2 types of filters
stand-alone filters and embedded filters
Use a stand-alone filter when you want to reuse the expression.
Use an embedded filter when you want to use a filter with
only one dimension or query subject.

we have 2 types of filters in Frame work manager and Report
studio.
In frameworm manager :
1. Stand alone filter
2. Embeded filter.
In report studio :
1. Detailed filter
2. Summary filter.

In framework Manager we have 2 types filters,
1.Stand alone filters:-
A.Use a stand-alone filter when you want to reuse the expression.
B.You can add a stand-alone filter to one or more dimensions or query subjects to limit the data that the query retrieves when the filtered dimension or query subject is used in a report.
2.Embedded Filter:-
A.Use an embedded filter when you want to use a filter with only one dimension or query subject.
B.You can create an embedded filter when modifying a dimension, relational data source query subject, or model query subject.
In report studio We have 3 Types Filters,
1.Tabular Filters:- In this two types,
A.Detailed Filters:-Filter is applied before aggregation as aggregation (detail)records are filtred
B.Summary Filters:-Filter applied after aggregation than aggregated (summary) records are filtered.
2.Grouped Filters:-
Filter which is applied to the group as group records are filters, known as Group Filters.
3.Slicer:-
A.Specifies the expression that defines the slicer member set. Slicer Applies to Slicer Member Set
B.A set of expression that returns members from a single hierarchy of a single dimension.

After applying date prompt and when we run the report we fet from date and todate prompts..so when we enter todate<fromdate its an error. How can we generate the user defined error message for this type of error
