Why sip ring used in ac motor also why its not used in dc motor?..

Answer / dj

Actualy for better torque in induction motor we should have high resistance and low inductance but in induction motor we have coil which have high inductance so we give high resistance from rheostat to rotor. And we use slip ring because it is use for rotating device only in ac motor
