E.M.F. means electro motive force.we can simply say that voltage difference between two terminals of an isolated charged battery..E.M.F. can't be measured. Even when we go for measurement through potentiometer,it will show the potential difference between the two terminals of battery, not the E.M.F. value.

whata is battery charger ?how many cells connected for 110v?
In our plant we have installed new MCC with ELR and CBCT which is detecting some leakage current in the system but it leading to some confusion when to check that in which feeder which is drawing current we put off the whole panel itself but still CBCT detecting some leakage current so can anybody ans me , where i am going wrong or how to detect whether its actual leakage or CBCT malfunctioning.

why we use core type and shell type transformers?
I'm generating a pulse of 3V with frequency 80Hz (12.5ms time period) and pulse duration 0.125ms and feeding it to a transformer since i want the pulse to get amplified around 60V. At the output amplification s happening but the pulse is changed to a spike, can you tell me what could be the reason? (an ordinary transformer 220V-12V stepdown transformer is reverse connected ie. now it is 12V-220V stepup and voltage amplification happens)
