Dekh Bhai..!!! yaha apne india me hai na bahut corruption hai.. yaha waise to 400 v generate hota hai lekin raste me log khha jate hai,, to hamare pas aate aate sirf 230 v hi bach jata hai,, same haadsa frequency k sath v ho jata hai.. din dahare ..

Normally AC supply is 230v and 50Hz.why because it is sufficient to house holds power supplies

The current 230v 50hzs are given to the household by keeping the safety precaution. The voltage 230v is not sufficient for causing a human death unless someone is a heart patient. And the frequency of 50hzs can vary to 60hzs as well. The current property is repulsive which cause a person to reflect his body part when he is in touch with open wire. Where in the other hand the cables which take 1000 of MVolts eleect.. are having attractive property.

Generally we use AC 230v,50Hz.but we can find AC above 230V
to in KV also.but frequency always 50HZ in india.We can
convert frequency to required frequency using thyristor and
inverter bridge.

put wave form of Ac is synosidal...and if we can use more then
230v the kid is collapse....i think it is from sravan

for general purpose use, AC is normally 230v 50hz used. Another reason is that a man does not take more than 230v.
