Answer / imran
check as
1-put the controll valv in manual and check incoming signal
if stable then problem in controll valve
2- check positioner condition its feedback link ,incase of
smart poistener check feedback potentiometer.spring and
configration.
3-check diaphragam

Answer / muhammad arsalan afzal
1=First of all check the feedback link of positioner mostly
such type of problem occur due to feedback link looseness.
2=Gain of the controller is too high you have to adjust it.
3=Gland packing is too tight slightly lose the gland pusher's
screws.

I will attend an interview with GasGas company for a position of Instrument Technician ( Offshore )in next month can anyone tell me what questions they will ask. Thanks in advance.
How can we say that accuracy of measurement increases by using 3 or 4 wire RTD? because for example: If resistance of RTD element is say r ohms and Resistance of the cable from transmitter to RTD is R ohms And if 4 wire RTD is used, ____._____________________ R ohms | |_____._____________________ R ohms / \ / r ohms \ \ | |______.__________________ R Ohms | |_______._________________ R ohms Then the actual resistance measured will be: Total = r + R/2 + R/2 = r +R Ohms Note: r+R instead of r ohms. hence error
