If you can not calculate the area of a conductor maybe you
need to contact a forth grader and ask them how to
calculate the area of a circle. As for the formula for
current density you may need to go to a fifth grader. Get
off you butt and google current density for yourself and
say thank you when you respond.

You calculate the load in amps and then select the correct
size bus bar. you can use the table at this site. note the
temperature.

firstly calculate load current.
then we have std formula that is
current densty =current/area.
use std. current density for copper or aliminium
put it down in above formula and calculte busbar size.....
if u r area 100mm sq.....then we can use 50mm*2mm or 25*4mm
or 10*10....as per suitable ....very simple na??

Ceiling fan motor wiring Hi, I have 2 ceiling fans broken. The receiver/control units burned out due to lightening. One Harbor Breeze and one Hunter's I took them apart (remove receiver units). Now on both of the motor I see 4 wires coming out from each motor I really want to know the function of each wire. Are there anyway I can test to see which is which? After searching forums I know these 4 wires are from 2 sets of coils inside the motor, one is Start winding and the other is Runing winding I could not find the receiver/control unit any where, so I am planing to buy Capacitors and universal remote controls to make the fans run again. Anyone has any idea how to do the wiring, please help Thnks

3 shows a 415 V, 3-phase generator supplying a 3-phase 415/110 V transformer. Draw the individual and combined impedance diagrams to a base of 10 kVA. Determine the system fault kVA and the fault currents at the 415 V and 110 V busbars for short circuit faults on the transformer input or output terminals. Work in p.u. values of impedances.
