I use online and normally all guys use this one only.Because
when main supply is there than it will switches to load
directly and same time charges its battery,if main supply cuts
than it will discharge its battery

In online ups Battery circuits remains allways in line i.e. UPS is connected to load through battery bank. But in ofline ups battery ckt remains as a standby .whenever the supply get cut then ups take the load through battery system.
