What is use of earth bits?
Earth is 2 type 1.neutral earth 2.body earth neutral earth called us parallel in phase for any load its not parallel in phase any electrical equipment was not working. body earth is called us it is connected to only electrical machine body any leakage current passed in machine body reduced to earth side so avoided electric shock .
Neutral earth value?
Neutral earth value is 5 ohm individual .combine neutral earth value less than 1 ohm.
How to improve earth value?
methods:
1. earth bits side add water and salt ,chemical powder in weekly once.
2. check weekly once for earth bus bar bolt net any loose condition.
3. only using pipe earth.
4. pipe earth max length 10 feet using better .
5. maximum avoid old earth bits.
6.more than 2 earth bits combine better.

Answer / sakthivel perambalur
your question is what is use of earth pits,
my answer is to discharge the electric current
next your question how it will function,
my answer is in our earth is a good conductor in electricity so, when ever fault developing time fault current goes to earth electrode and then goes to discharge to ground,
.
next your question is what is earth value,
my answer is zero,
next your question is how we are improve our earth resistance
my answer is to maintain dry condition in your earth pits and don't maintain the earth bit OK.
