when ever transformer oil temperature increase time,
transformer inside hot air goes in to out side of the
transformer, by root of conservator tank,
similarly transformer oil temperature decrease time,
normal atmospheric air goes in to transformer, by root of
breather ,
the normal atmospheric air contend of moisture ,
basically the moisture air mixing time transformer oil is
reduce the breakdown strength ,
breakdown strength reducing time electrical fault developed
in side of the transformer,( earth fault,phase to phase
short circuited ),
basically silica gel to arrest the moisture in air so we
are use silica gel used in breather (are u understand,
vanthni@yahoo.com)

generally silica gel is in blue color,
it is used to observe the moisture in
atmospheric air, after getting moisture
it will appear in white color
