NO. We can use mapping parameters or variables in any
transformation of the same maping or mapplet in which yoU
have created maping parameters or variables.

You can use the mapping parameters/variables in other mappings also but only with the help of reusable transformation. If it is not a reusable transformation then you cannot use parameters/variables in other mappings.
