if the load is connected instead of source and the armature
is rotated by a prime mover then it can work as a dc
generator.

dc motor and dc generator work based on the mauchul
induction .motor change the electric energy in to mechanical
energy but generator change the mechanical energy in to
electric energy.both construction same.if we supply the
output of generator used as input of motor then we change dc
generator as dc motor.
