how a cyclone steam separator works?
Answer / Rakshpal Singh Tyagi
A cyclone steam separator works by using centrifugal force to separate steam from solid particles. The separator consists of a cylindrical vessel with a conical bottom and an inlet at the top, which directs steam into the cyclone. As the steam enters, it is forced outward due to the centrifugal force created by the curved walls of the separator. The solid particles are thrown towards the wall of the cone, where they collect and can be easily removed from the bottom. The clean steam then exits the top of the separator.
