There is 3phase power cable from 1 point to the other point
which is 100m away. Two point equipped with power meter and
recorded 1st point is 205kW while the 2nd is 202kW and each
phase average carry 400amps. To calculate the resistance of
the 3phase power cable, is the formula using will be P=I2R?

If total loss in cable is 3 Kw hence it must be devided n
al 3 phases and hence 1 KW loss in one phase, now you can
use frmula P=I*I*R.It comes around 2.083 Milli ohm.

Answer / shyamkr
i think the current I will be the r.m.s value of current not
he average value and P will be the power loss in the cable.
so the formula P =I(r.m.s)2 * R.then this formula will give
the resistance in the ac circuit.
