adducts. if the compound is havine sodium ions how can we
confirm wether sodium is from sample or it is a adduct?

for sodium contamination adduct the intensity of the peak is
very low when compared to the sample sodium peak

If the precursor is sodium ion then intense peak will be of
sodium only rather than the same adduct so we can conclude
by observing lc-ms /TIC chromtgram
