why digital signals are preferred over analog in com?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Answer / rinkesh
because in the digital communication there are only two
voltage levels are used to communicate(to transfer or to
receive the signal), that are high voltage(1) and low voltage
(0). And easier to control the devices used in this type of
communication system.

In digital signals, there are the signals in the form of 0
and 1 . so if any unauthorised user access the information
then can't understand the information.so for security
purpose, this technique is used rather then analog
technique.

Digital signals have only two levels such as binary 0 and 1.so if noise is interfered, then it can be easily detected and recovered. Thus the error recovery is greatly utilised. But in analog signal, the signal has various voltage level at various time.

My business is camera stabilizers for motion picture cameras.
We use analogue servo systems because the analogue servo loop is much smoother and stability is much better than digital servo systems. Operating a high performance analogue servo stabilizer (panning/tilting/rolling the camera) is smoother, powerful and trouble-free.

simple thing is it is easier to control than analog and it also offers less room for noise..
so the signal transmitted is more accurate..
