why we are using the bridge rectifier in most of the circuits instead of full wave rectifier even though the output of both are same?
Answer / Baleandra Tiwari
Bridge rectifiers and full-wave rectifiers both convert AC voltage to DC, but bridge rectifiers have advantages that make them more commonly used. Bridge rectifiers require fewer components (four diodes versus six for a center-tapped transformer full-wave rectifier), making them simpler and cheaper. Additionally, bridge rectifiers can handle unbalanced AC voltages better than full-wave rectifiers.
