what is droop control?
Answer / Ajay Kumar
Droop control is a method used in power system stabilizers (PSS) for regulating the speed of synchronous generators. It works by adjusting the set point of the generator's excitation system in response to changes in the grid frequency. The set point decreases as the grid frequency increases, and vice versa. This helps maintain stable operation of the power system.
