how to calculate the power loss of cable?
Answer / g.nandha kumar
Cable losses depend on the material of the conductor. Basic
formula for loss is I^2 R. R varies with the ambient
Temperature and can be noted from the test report from the
manufacturer of cable. Current of loss can be calculated
based on the voltage drop in the cable. I=(V1-V2)/R.
