how a spindle motor works , in detail..............
Answer / Kush Dhwaj Kumar
A spindle motor is an electric motor used to drive rotating spindles, such as those found in lathes and drilling machines. The basic components of a spindle motor include the stator, rotor, commutator, brushes, and bearings. Here's how it works:
1. Electric current flows through the windings of the stator, creating a magnetic field that interacts with the magnetic field of the rotor.
2. The interaction between the stator and rotor causes the rotor to spin due to the principle of electromagnetic induction.
3. The commutator and brushes ensure that the current flows through the appropriate windings of the rotor, allowing it to maintain its rotation even when the direction of the magnetic field changes.
4. Bearings are used to minimize friction and allow the spindle to spin at high speeds.

resistance is the property of a material to resist the flow of current... now by ohm's law current is directly proportional to voltage. then why we transformer in small appplication... if we use resistance in daily life it will be more sufficent, cheaper, etc. than transformer
