What are thermocouples?
Answer / Achin Kumar
"Thermocouples" are temperature measuring devices that consist of two dissimilar metal conductors connected at one end and exposed to the temperature to be measured at the other end. The junction between these two metals produces an electromotive force (EMF) which is proportional to the temperature difference between the two junctions.
