Why nutral wir used thinner than phase wire..

in 3 phase four system , only unbalance current flow
through neutral wire , which in mili ampear.

That is in case of 3 phase supply ,as only the unbalanced
current flows through the neutral

it is because the neutral wire carries only the unbalanced
current. it doesnt carry the full load current. so, the
neutral wire is thinner when compared to phase wires in
three phase.
