how to prepare analysis of hire charges for 62.5 KVA
generator
Answer / shyam.bh
It is a lengthy & detailed process for rate analysis of
equipment.
It is done by the CWC (Capital cost & Wages of Crew) guidelines.
Hourly charges of 62.50 KVA DG
basic cost = 4,00,000.00
add transportation & insurance charge = 32,000.00
Other taxes = 12000.00
Book value of machinary = 4,44,000.00
Rated life = 08 yrs
Rated life in hours = 20,000hrs
Yearly depreciation of the equipment = 49950.00 (cwc
guideline)
hourly depreciation = 20.00 -----A
Interest on capital investment/hr = 16.00 -----B
Repair & maintanance@120% = 24.00 -----C
Fuel charges for operation = 0.026*62.50/0.746*3.04*35
= 232.00
Oil & lubricants @ 25% of above = 58.00
sundries @ 10% of repair charge = 2.00
Total fuel charges = 292.00 ----D
Labour charges
rated life / month = 12000/144 = 166.67 hr/month
regular worker
operator = 8,000.00x0.80 = 6,400.00
mechanic = 10,000.00x0.125 = 1250.00
Total L/C = 7650.00----a
Casual worker watchman = 3000x0.125 = 375.00 ----b
Total L/C = 8025.00
Add hidden charges @ 80% on 'a'& 55% on 'b' =6326.25
Total L/C = 14351.25
Hourly L/c = 86.10 ----E
therefore the hourly charges of a set 62.50KVA
= A+B+C+D+E = 438.20 Rs
