Create Model?
Model is--------Nothing but designing the database.
According to user requirement.


Model---------- It contains meta data which is related to
bussiness reporting Information.We import this data from
the database.

Why we need to create Views.

For better organizing the metadata we need to create views.

-----------Databaseview(Physicallayer),
-----------Businessview(presentationlayer).

now Metadata in DB View.

-----------Depends on require which we need querysub's and
QueItems.
-----------we can drag and drop from DB View to Bus View.

Then

Package creation----------- Right clik on package.
----------- Click on Create.
Then

Publish Package.

Thank you for your question .. There is many kind of
models .

“ Strategic Model is a tool to convert creative ideas or
any written subjects or documents to new functions criteria
for better understand the theory by mangers and start
implementing with clear plan” .

for example :

" Green Model 360 is a creative strategic model to control
and monitor electrical energy , protect environment and
start GREEN energy ( Renewable Energy ) . "

How to creat model ?

You need to write new idea to create new model .

How to test model ?

you need to create Scoring test to each element .

Model is nothing but designing the database according to
the user requirement.Incase of modelling we will come
accross creating layers like developement layer,database
layer and business layer so we can modify the data at the
FM level with the concept of modeling.

for example: consider the date format in the database is
dd/mm/yyyy but the client want the format as mm/dd/yyyy so
instead of formating the date in each and every report we
can modify the format while modeling in FM.

we can create a model in FM by creating New project.we have
test option to tast the model.

Create a Model In framework Manager and then publish
it,make sure thar Model meets the requirements,don't
overload the model with unwanted query items

meta data from the various operational sources... we vl test
the model by using the TOAD
