for a distribution transformer(22 kv or 11kv/440v),there is
a bushing in the HV side whereas LV side doesn't has.
in a small transformer (used in radio,tv....),the
size of the lv side winding (conductor size)is slightly
bigger than the HV side winding.
Also,HV winding is always wounded over the LV
winding.

The LV side mostly STAR winding, That's why which has four Bushings that is R, Y, B phases and neutral. But in HV side mostly Delta winding that's why which has three bushings.

Try to see the connected cables if you can distinguish between HV & LV cables
HV side there is only one big cable which is multi core and LV side three separate cables and neutral cable
if there are no connected cables then see the glands available for cables; at LV side there is provision of single gland and at LV side there is LV cables termination box.

In synchronous motor, how the field current is related to armature current..i know its inversely proportional..but concept wise...i was nt clear....pls help me...
In 110V DC supply,if a closed circuit gets open, How can we identify the voltage which is measured after the resistor(4KOhm) which is open with negative.it shows 55V +ve when measured, also the actual positive source is 55V +ve .Because there is no voltage drop in open circuit. How can we identify whether this is the voltage which is series with the resistor or the DC source direct +ve.

We have two Al.busbars each of size 125mm*10 mm connected in parallel. To increase the current rating ,can we connect third busbar of size 100mm*10mm in parallel to existing two busbars? In my opinion ,if we connect busbars of different sizes in parallel, then the busbar of lowest size will take much current. So this type of paralleling should be avoided .Am I correct?
