the tertiary winding has a power rating below the rated
power rating of the secondary side, it is also called as
"STABILIZING WINDING". it is used for the following reasons:
A) harmonics suppression.
B) reduction of zero sequence impedences.
C) Sometimes the power is taken from it to supply fans and
cooling systems.
