How to analyse the best accuracy to micrometer than
vernier?
Answers were Sorted based on User's Feedback
Answer / pratik patel
-->Vernier Has Least Count of 0.02 mm (Least count is
minimum unit that can be measured)
-->Micrometer comes with Least Count of 0.01 mm. so
obviously micrometers are more accurate. One benefit of
Micrometer is that, they come with THIMBLE for uniform
pressure, In vernier you will get different reading for
different pressure of your thumbh. The difference will not
be much but if you talk about accuracy it will affect.

~micrometer have a rotary handle and whereas vernier have a slider.
~micrometer for measuring diameters and vernier for inside outside diameter as well as depth.
~A typical micrometer screw guage has a maximum accuracy of +or-0.0005mm(0.01mm)reading whereas a veriner caliper has a typical maximum accuracy of +or-0.05mm(0.1mm) reading.

1) Any pipe line working fluid may water / steam on it one manual isolation valve suppose one side of valve 6 kg/ cm^2 pressure (i.e. up stream) and other side is “ 0” kg/ cm^2 pressure(i.e. down stream) . So how much Tourqe required for opening the valve in terms of Newton force wheather normal man can open this valve. (for reference pipe nominal bore is 100 NB )
