12.5 HP Motor gets heated after few minutes dure to the
losses in motor i.e., iron losses coper losses , windage
losses , friction losses and these looses comes into play
on account of resistance present in the motor circuit.

1. overload(excess the normal level)
2. low voltage
3. unbalanced current flowing in every phase

1. what is the Current drawn by motor?
2. are the current in all phases are balanced?
3. If motor rotates or not?
4. If stall is due to load, take no load trial.
5. Condition of motor cooling fan. Free on shaft?
6. Condition of bearings. Jammed fully/semi?
