parallel ckt takes max. load cause magnitude of voltage is
common for all ckt. connected in parallel. Voltage is the
cause of flow of current.

Parallel ckt takes max load as stateed above. It allows more
load to be connected where as connecting many loads in
series will cause Reduced terminal voltage at load side due
to voltage drop.

Answer / ramesh behera
In parallel path all the magnitude of voltage are same only the sharing load are varies with the resistances so that the load are maximum
But in series case the voltage are sharing with their internal resistance value so that the voltage are dropped across resistance but the system current remains same
so this connection are not suitable for variable load application

need to make a report. Need to choose a 3phase induction motor. Load conditions motor will operate in : Maximum Load: 30 Kw Speed: 2950 rpm Ambient temp: 20 cent Supply voltage: 440V Frequency: 50Hz need to look for the safety factor when choosing the motor, went through catalouge found a few, but dont know how to choose the safety factor allowing an extra load something above 30 KW to avoid any harm.
if suplly 11kva its give 440volts then if suplly is given 10kva whats the volts given
