dc is a direct current, ac is a alternating current, in ac
magnitude and direction will varie with respect to tome.In
dc magnitude and direction will not varie.

DC IS UNI DIRECTIONAL
AC IS BI DIRECTIONAL
IN THE CONDUCTOR DC FLOWS ONLY IN ONE DIRECTION ALL THE
TIME, BUT AC CURRRENT FLOWS ONCE IN ONE DIRECTION IN +VE
HALF CYCLE AND FLOWS IN OPPOSITE DIRECTION IN THE _VE HALF
CYCLE.
