What are the causes of L.O. high temperature?
Answer / Kumar Bhaskar
L.O. (Liner-Outlet) high temperature in a diesel engine can be caused by several factors: 1) Excessive heat from the combustion process, such as from overfuelling or too much turbulence within the cylinder. 2) Poor cooling of the piston crown or rings leading to excessive heat transfer to the liner. 3) Worn valve guides that allow leakage of combustion gases into the cooling system.
