two phase supply.9

Answer / nigam kumar singh
to meet the same load motor will draw additional current,
which can burn its winding ,so over current/overload
protection relay will trip the motor.

Answer / mehul bhoraniya
it was burnt after some time, cause of more current flow in
this two phase. that's condition known as "single phasing"

Answer / ken shirke
This condition is called single phasing. In this case motor
draws more current from remaining two supply lines.Torque
developed is reduced since T is directly proportion to
v2.There will be a sever vibration.Motor will run if load
is small.

Answer / jayakrishnan
Motor will run as usual with some extra vibration, but the thing is that you can run the motor only with 60% of its rated, as told above the speed will not be reduce unless frequency reduces, its all slip maters,

Sir, Please tell me that how I will calculate the efficiency of rectifier. Because input is ac and output is dc. Is it right to put two unlike signal together.
Can someone help me in the Below Quest on Earthing 1.Types of Earthing and Recommended for what use 2.What is the Pit value /Panel N -E value should be or within limit for RP and UPS .
i need to calculate high voltage line power factor daily basics but there is meter reading kwh and kvah while calculating power factor kwh/kvah formula was right. for examble there is point c=13kwh c=1.8 lag c=1.2 lead and c=14.5kvah like that i know that p.f =kwh/kvah but c=1.8lag kvarh and c=1.2lead kvarh points i dont know if u know please reply
what is the difference between 2phase & 3 phase?
what is the difference in inductance and resistance.both oppose the flow of current but how.resistance having + ve power in both cycle while inductance having both power.
Where is 2 phase supply used commercially?
We have two Al.busbars each of size 125mm*10 mm connected in parallel. To increase the current rating ,can we connect third busbar of size 100mm*10mm in parallel to existing two busbars? In my opinion ,if we connect busbars of different sizes in parallel, then the busbar of lowest size will take much current. So this type of paralleling should be avoided .Am I correct?
How is a 100 MVA transformer cooled?
Hy the hydro power stations have high transmission and Distribution costs?
i have seen a picture of a power plant. in that pic. i saw chimney like giant structure which were spreading smoke like something...i want to know is it chimney or cooling towers, as my friends use to say.
for 12KW motor which cable size has to select for ex.10 meter.
How vfd saving power.
