it does not mean how much cylinder is present in a
vehicle ,one cylinder with 1000cc volume of a engine can
gives you much more efficiency than four 100cc cylinder
engine.
overall efficiency = mechanical efficiency + volumetric
efficiency

ITS DEPENDS UPON THE CLEARANCE RATIO OF CYLINDER AS MUCH CLEARANCE RATIO AS MUCH FUEL WILL ENTER IN EMGINE MUCH WILL BE OUTPUT HENCE POWER....ULTIMATE TO SAY BIGGER SIZE OF ENGINE WILL PRODUSE MUCH POWER NOT NUMBER OF CYLINDER....
SUPPOSE FOUR CYLINDERS ARE SUCKING 50MG FUEL AT ONE STROKE AND ONE CYLINDER 100MG...SO 100 MG WILL PRODUCE MORE POWER...

Problem: I am considering both Tractor and car engine having same bore and stroke. In that case, How tractor Engine give Less power with 4 Cylinder and Car engine Giving more power with 2 Cylinder?????
Confusions: Tractor Engine Having Double the Volume of Car Engine. Still gives less Power than Car Engine??????
Ans:
1. Tractor Engines are having high torque than the Car Engines. So power will be low but torque will be higher.
2. Tractors Mileage are calculated in Liters/Hector. Tractors needs to give more mileage than the On Road Vehicles, Because we can not fill the fuel often. So Tractors Fueling (Fuel Injected in the Cylinder/Sec) are very very low compare to On road Vehicles.
so If Fueling is low automatically Power will be low in some Operating Modes
