suppose the field is rotating and the armature is
stationary,we r applying dc to field. consider a single
conductor of armature. according to that conductor,while
rotor rotate say north pole is coming and have maximum
intensity then to low afterthat south pole is coming maximum
valu then minimu again norht. ie with respect to that
conductor it feel a sinusoidal flux.
if we are applied ac then we will not get sinusoidal
flux,hence cant produce sinusoidal emf.that is y.

hope my answer is correct

In a transformer ,when voltage decreases current increases. but this is a violation of oms law.why?
