what is diffrances between fuse and breaker protection? which one is best?..

Answer / aamirali

Fuse and Breaker both are used for protection against short ckt current. Fuse is used for low voltage protection say homes, shops, hospitals, schools etc. While ckt breaker is used for mostly high voltage side say factories, substations, power grid, whole buildings etc.

If we use ckt breaker instead of fuse it is not economical, maintenance & operating is not easy also rating. Fuse is easy to operate in low voltage side.
