SPC a periodic process inspection in which we can determine
whether a process is staying in control or is potentialy
moving out of control at a given point of time.
1)If we deside to employ SPC, the tactic assumption is that
whole process is in good fit and it should be retained.
2)We need it to determine whether the causes of variations
are common or special through the process.

SPC is an online process improvement methodology, used to
check whether a perticular process is under statistical
control(i.e. subjected to chance cuases of variation)or
not.It tells the operator/process woner for which type of
variation he should react and for which type of variaton he
shoul leave the process as it is.
For effective implementation of SPC one shoul have
1.Clear understanding about the process,Specially the idea
about the controllable process i/p and o/p variable.
2.Idea about SPC tool and techniques.
3.Concept of variations.

SPC IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART TO FIND THE CAUSE OF VARIATION IN THE PROCESS OF PRODUCTION BECAUSE SUBJECT MAY BE VARIATE IN LOWER AND UPPER CONTROL LIMITS .

Answer / karthick
spc-statistical process control is a technique used in
quality engineering.when a product is being under
production it is subjected to this technique.here a graph
is drawn between control limits (i.e., upper control and
lower control).the product should be between the limits.if
it is greater than the upper or lesser the lower control
then the product shoule be rejected.
