Why RPM cum hour meter connection is not possible in water cooled DEA set. Is there any problem in..

Answer / Abhishek Tyagi

In a water-cooled Diesel Engine Aggregate (DEA), the RPM and hour meter may not be directly connected due to their different mounting locations or design considerations. However, the RPM data can still be obtained through other means such as using a magnetic pickup sensor or a tachometer. The sensing itself is not an issue but might require additional equipment for accurate monitoring.
