used due to hich discharge

For feeding water to the boiler drum Boiler feed pumps are used.It is a multistage centrifugal pump,it is used because it has high discharge as well as high pressure( by multistaging)as it has to deliver water against the drum pressure and also the drum is loacted 60 m above ground.Discharge pressure is upto 20 mpa.
