point.here pressure remains constant may be in atm
pressre.after that further increase in heat doesnot change
the temperature

latent heat--it is the heat needed to change the phase of
the substance.during this heat addition the temp remains
constant

specific heat--it is the heat required to raise the temp of
a unit mass of a substance through one degree centigrade

the specific work input during a compression cycle from p1 to p2 , if compresion is isothermal, is given by p1v1logp2/p1. explain?
