ithink ritchet mechanism is used for cooling of gas turbine.
This mechanism is that which has its blade inclined at15
degree and it rotates automatically, it cools the turbine

Compressed air gets devided into primary and secondary
parts and primary air goes for actual combustion,secondary
air is made to pass around the cumbustion chamber, turbine
blade tips,roots and discs cooling all of them. it finally
mixes with primary air in the exhaust nozzle.
