It won't run in change in speed due to double excitation.
The motor runs in the synchronous speed due to magnetic
locking, if the speed decreases suddenly it get out from the
locking and goes to zero speed.

synchronous speed Ns=(120*frequency)/number of poles. Since
frequency and number of poles are constant and hence the
synchronous speed is constant and cannot be changed.
