Difference between ELCB and RCCB?

ELCB is basically voltage operated tripping mechanism. When a
voltage exists between the earth and frame the tripping coil
is activated. If the earth connection is bad the tripping coil
will not operate.
RCCB is an improvement of the voltage operated tripping
mechanism. This is current operated. If the leakage current is
of the designed minimum amount the tripping mechanism is
activated. So if the earthing connection to the ground is bad
but the leakage occurred through a person to the ground the
RCCB will still trip.

Elcb is working based on Earth leakage current. But Rccb is
not having sensing or connectivity of Earth, because
fundamentally Phase current is equal to the neutral current
in single phase. That’s why RCCB can trip when the both
currents are deferent and it withstand up to both the
currents are same. Both the neutral and phase currents are
different that means current is flowing through the Earth.
Finally both are working for same, but the thing is
connectivity is difference.

In a 3 phase system a neutral exists so that any unbalanced currents can flow through it towards earth.... but a phase demands a particular current as per the load attached to it....then where does the extra current come from the goes in the neutral??....I mean in an unbalanced system a phase demands a current as per its load attached....then where does the unbalanced current come from??

If an electrical component has a positive temperature coefficient, how come such components have high power losses due to heat if current decreases when resistance increases? assuming power given by I^2*R whereby the Resistance is infinite.
