which one is dangerous AC Power r DC Power for Electrical Shock ?..

Answer / sandeep

DC is more dangerous because in AC current becomes zero 3
times in second so at that time there is great chance that
person can be separated from line thats why you alwase find
that persone getting shock gets thrown away from live
contact if he gets certain resistance due to touching of
wood or any insulating material but on other hand DC has
constan current so no chance of it becoming zero and no
chance of escape as mentioned above

which one is dangerous AC Power r DC Power for Electrical Shock ?..

Answer / naresh kumar

DC power is dangerous than AC power. because AC power
having particular Time period, that means f=1/T ( in general
50-60 HZ)
but in DC power,Time period is zero f=1/0 ( which means f=
infinity )

Answer / rakesh

Dc Power is Danger coz. it has constant frequency.
AC power has sinsodal wave freq. c/sec.

which one is dangerous AC Power r DC Power for Electrical Shock ?..

Answer / manish kumar janagal

dc is a constant current... and it never becomes zero.but ac current has sinusoidal waveshape of frequency 50 hz.. means it increses from zero to max.. and again decreses to negative max and agian increses ..... thus in a sec.. it becomes 100 times zero.... so the person is seprated from ac easily in comparision to dc

which one is dangerous AC Power r DC Power for Electrical Shock ?..

Answer / paramesha r l

I think AC is more dangerous.
Human body act as quasi capacitor due to contact resistance
Since Capacitor allows AC And Block DC severity of electric shock is less in DC.

In case contact is only one terminal I.e, + or - then severity is further less some time nil as there is no return path to source through human body.

which one is dangerous AC Power r DC Power for Electrical Shock ?..

Answer / hasmul sk

ac is more dengerous to dc.becuse-dc have magnitude and
derection of current same but in case ac reverse .is fully
depend on rms value. dc ac 220 v means (220*root 2)=311 .so
ac is more effective

which one is dangerous AC Power r DC Power for Electrical Shock ?..

Answer / arvind

both are dangerous, because anything in excess will create
aproblem for us and second technical answer is as per IS a
person can bear voltage upto 25v in ac and in dc is around
20vdc. as above these value only we will feel to get shock.

which one is dangerous AC Power r DC Power for Electrical Shock ?..

Answer / rajeshkumarbe

Ac power oly more danger then DC power coz it has frequency.
EXPLANATION:
In Human body pulse rate is 60-100 per minute .
Well conditioned athletes
40-60 beats per minute
Children (1-10)
60-140 beats per minute

But indian Frequency 50 c/sec

if touches that pulsate our body 50 c/sec
that enoromous attack will stop the heart beat

thank u
