and reaction turb are used where head is not that much high

available.specific speed and head are inversely
proportional.the specific speed of reaction turbine is 10-
100 and for impulse turbine it is 0-4

generally in reaction turbine, only a part of pressure energy is converted into kinetic energy. whaat about balance pressure energy incase of single cylinder steam turbine?
