is producing by phase angle between two phase so two phase
is needed means then why we using three phase ?

As we know the sum of phase angle difference in poly phase
circuits will be 360 degree
i.e
Assuming that the phase R has maximum induced emf at this
instant the emf of other phase will be less then maximum value
when phase R is rotated by 120 degree in anticlockwise
direction phase Y will come in the portion of phase R and
its induced emf will be maximum further when phase R rotates
by 240 degree phase B will occupy the position of maximum emf.
Hence we have to use the three phase RY B for i mean when we
connecting poly phase circuits

Answer / baskaran.r
in a given frame size we can get any number of phases but 3
phases are high in utilizing the capacity without much
complications. in a 3 phase system the phases are separated
by 120 degrees. in a two phase system the angle between them
will be 180 degrees which is the same as single phase only.
