Current to be drawn from 11kv line depends on different
factors.These factors are length of line, size of
conductor,ambient temperature of region etc.Normally 11 kv
line with Racoon conductor could carry 197 Amps and perhaps
with Dog conductor could carry 240 Amps with VD 6%.Also
Currents beyond this may create problems at breaker levls
as excessive heat coud result particularly at Joints.

it is depend on the type of the conductor CU or Al
it is depend on the cross section area of the Conductor
R = resistevity * length / Area
1 MM^2 ----> Cu give between 3 --> 5 Amp.
1 MM^2 -----> Al give between 1 ---> 3 Amp

Answer / dilip
it is depends on the rating of distribution transformer,e.g
if there is 100 kva, then it will take 5.25amp.
