Fault level is a value of fault energy realesed under fault
conditions.for example if we have
A 20MVA 66/11KV with a 5% impedance.
Maximum fault MVA will be
20MVA/0.05 = 400MVA

in the exciter the power is feeded from battry or control or whatever.and we need it in the generators for the stating . do we need it in the shutdown also?i mean the exciter>
