if u have single phase load (un balance) and the main power
cable is 3.5core means netural is .5 of phase and can the
three phase current make the return paht in .5 neutral.
Answer / raj
If you use all 3ph ( R,Y,B Core of Cable ) for single phase
load then only unbalanced current will flow through neutral
(1/2 Conductor ) but we must try to balance current in all
R,Y,B Phases. If you have to use only one single phase
circuit then use R+Y for Phase and B+Black for neutral (
Use twin Core to get more rating outout ).

we all know that in transformer, voltage and current are inversely related i.e. Vp/Vs= Is/Ip....so in standard CT..we have a ratio of 200/5...that means our voltage should increase by ratio of 40..althoug that is not the case...because that requires high insulation level.and pratically not feasible......can anybody clarify my ques.......thanx
